Ramayan Store

Ramayan Store is located in Kankarbagh, right near the Rajendra Nagar Terminal in Patna. Being so close to the station means there’s always someone passing by. We get a mix of people who live nearby and travelers who are just getting off a train and need something quick. The shop isn't very large, but we try to fit as much as possible on the wooden shelves. It can get pretty crowded inside when more than three people walk in at once. Patna summers are quite harsh, so we have a small fan that barely does the job, but we stay open regardless. Most of the day is spent checking what ran out yesterday and what we need to order for tomorrow. We handle everything ourselves, from sweeping the floor in the morning to locking up late at night. There’s always some noise from the trains or the rickshaws outside, but you get used to it after a few months. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a torch to find things for the customers. It’s a simple life here in 800020. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name of the store and the goods we sell. People know where we are, and that seems to be enough for us to keep going every day without much trouble. We just try to stay stocked with the basics that everyone uses at home.
