Progressive English School

Progressive English School is tucked away in the Makhaniya Kuan Road area of Bankipur, right near Nagar Nausha Kothi. If you know Patna, you know how crowded these streets can get, especially when school lets out. Our building is right in the middle of all that local noise and energy. We’ve been here in this part of Patna for a good amount of time, seeing the neighborhood change around us. The classrooms aren't huge, but they fit the kids just fine, and we try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside. Mornings usually start with the sound of rickshaws and parents dropping off their little ones at the gate. We spend a lot of our time just managing the day-to-day things, like making sure the chalk is stocked and the benches are in good repair. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a school where things actually happen. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to catch a breeze. The staff knows most of the families around here by name because we’ve lived in this area for years. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a front desk where people come to ask about admissions or pay fees. It’s a very local operation, run by people who live right here in Bankipur and care about what happens on this street.
