House No 1 at Narayan Singh Park is where we are located. It’s a quiet spot most days, but the mornings get pretty hectic when folks start showing up for their appointments. We've been here for a while now. The building is easy to find if you know the park. Sometimes the gate sticks a bit in the summer heat. Inside, there's the usual smell of disinfectant and people waiting in the plastic chairs. We keep the fans going to stay cool. Our doctors are busy, and the nurses are always running around with charts. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we need to do. People from the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We see a lot of the same faces. Last week we had to fix some plumbing in the back, things like that always happen. It’s just part of running a hospital here. The front desk gets a bit cluttered with papers and files, but we manage to find what we need eventually. Everyone tries their best to help out when someone comes in looking worried. It’s a job like any other, but you see a lot of life happening in these halls. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, and everyone gets a bit grumpy until it's fixed.
