You can find Pari Kirana Store on the Kankarbagh Main Road in Patna. We are located right below Leather World, which makes it easy for people to find us. Being on the main road means there is a lot of noise and dust from the vehicles passing by all day. I spend a good amount of my time just dusting off the packets on the shelves. The shop is a bit below the street level, so it stays a little cooler in the summer, which is nice. We stock all the usual kirana items—rice, sugar, oil, and spices. I've been running this place for several years now. It’s a tight space, but we make it work by stacking things high. I usually have a helper who helps with the deliveries and moving the heavy stuff around. We get a mix of people coming in, some who are just passing by and others who have lived in Kankarbagh for decades. I don't bother with any fancy displays or advertisements. People know where we are. The billing is done manually most of the time. It gets pretty hectic in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. I try to keep everything in order, but when it’s busy, the counter gets a bit messy. It’s just a regular part of running a shop in a busy city like Patna. We just open up and do our best until it's time to close.
