N.K.Aluminium Works

We are based in the village and post-area of Barh. N.K.Aluminium Works is a local shop where we handle a lot of metal work for the houses and businesses nearby. The space is filled with offcuts of aluminium and different frames we are working on. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from around Barh, but the locals know the way. The shop is part of a larger building that's been in the area for ages. We don't have a big staff, just a few hands to help with the heavy lifting and the cutting. The floor is usually covered in small silver shavings by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it’s a never-ending task. The air smells like metal and sometimes oil. We have a small bench out front where people sit and wait while we finish up a small repair. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the loud sound of the saws. We follow the rhythm of the village, opening when the sun comes up and heading home when it starts to get dark. There isn't any fancy technology here, just the standard tools we've been using for years. It works for us and for the people who need our help. We just keep doing what we know. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to bother with that right now. It's just home for us.
