Our office is at House Number 42 on Road 9C in Rajiv Nagar, which is part of the Patliputra area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually pretty quiet until the school buses start coming through. We have been operating this pharmaceutical company from this house for a few years now. It’s a modest setup. We use the front part of the building for the office work and the back rooms for storing the supplies. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving boxes and checking the labels against the invoices. We don't use any high-tech sorting machines. It's just us doing it by hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have to sit out on the porch for a bit until it comes back on. Patliputra is a good location because it's easy for the delivery trucks to find us. We know most of the drivers by their first names. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements. If you walk past, you might not even know there is a business running inside. We prefer it that way. It keeps things simple. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers from other cities. The work isn't very exciting, but it's important to make sure the local shops have what they need for their customers. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
