Nawada Fish is located at 131 New Market, right across from the Town Thana near the Jila Parishad. Being in such a central spot means we’re right in the middle of all the action. It’s a busy part of town, and there’s always a crowd nearby. We deal with fresh fish every single day, which means our mornings start very early, long before most people are even awake. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There’s always water on the floor and the smell of the market is something you just get used to after a while. We don't have a polished office or fancy uniforms. We wear what's practical for handling wet crates and ice. Our setup is simple because we focus on the product rather than the appearance of the shop. People know where to find us because we’ve been at this New Market location for a while. We don't do big advertisements or use corporate language. We’re just local people providing fish to the community. Sometimes the supply is great and sometimes it’s a bit thin, depending on the season and the weather. We just take what comes and try to keep things moving. It’s a tough trade and your hands are always cold, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't make any big promises, we just show up every day and get to work at the market.
