Champaran Meat House

We are over in Kankarbagh at Doctors Colony in Patna. The address is officially 800020, but most people just find us by looking for the Punjab National Bank because we are directly opposite that. It is a pretty straightforward meat house. We don't spend much time on decorations or flashy signs because the food is the main thing we worry about. The area around Doctors Colony stays busy with people going to clinics or the bank, so there is always some noise outside. Inside, we just have our pots and the kitchen setup for the meat. Cooking meat the way people around here like it takes a bit of time, so we are usually busy in the back long before the first person walks in. It’s a local operation, and we know many of the faces that come through the door. Patna can be a bit dusty and the roads get crowded, especially near the bank, but we have our routine down. We aren't trying to be some big restaurant chain. We are just a local spot in Kankarbagh where you can get a meal. The tables are basic and the service is just us bringing out the food as soon as it is ready. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up, cook the meat, and hope the day goes smoothly for everyone who eats here.
