Mohan Kirana Store

If you walk down Anisabad Road in Patna, you’ll find Mohan Kirana Store not too far from the petrol pump. It’s a convenient spot for people who are heading home and need to grab some pulses, rice, or oil. The shop has been here for a while, and the walls have seen better days, but the stock is always fresh. We deal with a lot of bags of grain and heavy tins. It’s manual work, hauling stuff from the back to the front, but it keeps us busy. Being in the 800002 area means we see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in with their handwritten lists, and we go around picking items out for them. Sometimes children come in with a few coins looking for sweets or small toys.
