Modern Hospital

Modern Hospital is at A/171 P C Colony in Kankarbagh. Kankarbagh is a big residential area, so we are right in the middle of where people live. The hospital is basically a house that has been converted and expanded over the years to fit more beds and equipment. It has a very local feel to it. You won't find any corporate logos or sleek glass walls here. Instead, it’s a lot of concrete and traditional rooms. The colony itself is usually busy with people going to the market or kids playing nearby. We get a lot of patients from the immediate neighborhood who just walk over when they aren't feeling well. Our waiting room is small, so people often stand around the entrance talking. The nurses are busy, and you can hear the sound of the television from the staff room sometimes. It feels a bit like a community hub. We have the basic medical setups, nothing too high-end, but it works for what people need. Sometimes the narrow streets of the colony make it tricky for ambulances to get through, but we manage. It’s a bit cramped inside, especially when we have a lot of visitors, but it keeps things feeling personal. We’ve been a part of Kankarbagh for quite a while now and everyone knows where A/171 is located. It is just a part of the everyday scenery here.
