Marg Darshak Civil Services Academy

You can find Marg Darshak Civil Services Academy over in the 800004 area of Patna. It’s not a huge building, just a regular space where we hold our sessions. We started this because we noticed a lot of people in Patna were traveling far just for some help with their studies. Since we are centrally located, it makes it easier for folks to reach us by bus or rickshaw. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have rows of chairs and a lot of paper everywhere because there is always something to print or read. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but honestly, we’re more focused on what’s happening in the lessons. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs gets a bit loud, but it’s convenient when we need a break. We don't really do much advertising. Most people hear about us from their friends or neighbors who have stopped by before. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone shows up at the same time, but we manage. There isn't a fancy lounge for waiting, just a few plastic chairs in the hallway. We spend a lot of time just organizing schedules and making sure there are enough handouts for everybody. It’s hard work keeping everything running smoothly every day, but we are used to the routine. The power goes out once in a while, so we have a small backup system to keep things going. It's a plain place for serious work.
