Maihar Cement Ltd. (B.K. Birla Guoup)

We have another spot over on Boring Road, which is one of the busiest areas in Patna. We are in M-5 of the Jamuna Apartment building. If you know Boring Road, you know how loud and chaotic it can get with all the shops and traffic outside. Inside the apartment office, it’s a bit quieter, but we still have a lot of people coming in and out all day. We are part of the Maihar Cement group under B.K. Birla, and this is where we handle a lot of the administrative paperwork. It’s an older building, so the elevators are a bit slow, and the hallways can be dark. We have our desks set up with piles of invoices and delivery notes. Most of our day is spent coordinating where the next truckload of cement needs to go. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a functional workspace where we can sit down and get the job done. Sometimes we go downstairs to grab a snack from the street vendors when things get too busy. It’s a typical Patna office life—lots of tea, lots of talk, and trying to stay cool when the AC isn't keeping up with the Bihar summer. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the customers happy while we navigate the daily bustle of the city.
