Laxmiraj Hospital is tucked away in Ashok Nagar, on Road Number 8 in the Kankarbagh area. We are located at Prabhu Prasad’s place, the son of the late Lalu Rai. If you’re familiar with this part of Kankarbagh, you know it’s a maze of roads, but Road Number 8 is a steady spot. The hospital isn’t some massive complex. It’s more of a local facility that’s grown over time. We have a few floors and a dedicated group of people who keep the place going. It’s not always quiet here; between the patients and the family members, there is a lot of movement. We don’t spend time on polished speeches or corporate mission statements. We are mostly concerned with making sure the patients have what they need and that the doctors can do their work. The building has its quirks, like any place that’s been around for a while, but it works for us. Kankarbagh is a dense area, so we get people from all the surrounding blocks. We spend our days handling the front desk, cleaning the wards, and making sure the medicines are in stock. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t have a marketing team to make us look fancy. We are just a hospital on Road Number 8 trying to be useful to the people in Ashok Nagar and beyond.
