Lakshya Commerce Institute

Lakshya Commerce Institute is located in Mahendru, down Kunkun Singh Lane. This part of Patna 800006 is quite old and the lanes can be a bit narrow and confusing if you aren't from here. We have our space set up for commerce students who live around this area. It isn't a huge building, just a few rooms where we can fit some benches. The lane gets really crowded in the afternoons when the schools nearby finish their classes. We often see the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels like a tight community here. We have some cupboards for books and a few tables for our own work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for the teaching. We focus on the accounts and math that the students need to learn. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we have to wipe the desks down every morning. It gets really humid in the monsoon season, and the lane sometimes gets a bit muddy. We just carry on with our work regardless of the weather. People find us because we have been in Mahendru for a while and everyone knows Kunkun Singh Lane. We don't bother with fancy stuff or big promises, we just open the doors and start the day when the first students arrive. It's a regular life for us, keeping things moving along in this corner of Patna.
