Kishan Kirana

You can find Kishan Kirana in P C Colony, which is a part of the Kankarbagh area in Patna. We are located right near the HDFC ATM, which is a very easy landmark for everyone. Our pin code is 800020. Because of the ATM, there are always people standing around outside, and many of them pop into the shop to buy a bottle of water or some snacks while they wait. We are a traditional kirana store, so we stock all the staples like mustard oil, rice, sugar, and various masalas. The shop is quite packed with bags and boxes, and sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but I know exactly where every single item is kept. Kankarbagh is a very busy and crowded part of Patna, so there is always a lot of noise and activity outside our door. We open the shop around eight in the morning and we stay open until quite late at night. I usually take a break for a couple of hours in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak and the streets get a bit quieter. We don't have a computer or any fancy billing system, just a pen and paper. We have been here for a long time and we have built a good relationship with the local residents. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, but it is what we do. We just focus on keeping the shelves full.
