Immac Mediscon Pharmaceuticals is located in Khalilpura, which is in the Phulwari area of Patna. We work out of the house of Sri Sudhir Kumar, the son of Shyam Nandan Singh. It’s a very local, neighborhood-based operation. We deal with pharmaceutical distribution on a daily basis. The office is just a simple room in the house where we keep our ledgers and some of our stock. Phulwari Sharif is a busy place, and being in Khalilpura puts us right in the heart of the community. We aren't a massive corporation with a lot of hierarchy. We are just a few people working together to make sure the business runs right. We spend a lot of our time checking shipments and talking to local chemists. The work is mostly practical. We don't have a mission statement or any promotional materials. We just try to be useful to the pharmacies in this part of Patna. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the office when a new shipment of medicines arrives, but we manage to stay organized. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and people around here know who we are. It’s a steady, honest way to make a living. We don’t try to be something we aren’t. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and keeping our inventory moving to where it is needed. It is a humble setup but we take it seriously.
