We are set up over in Kankarbagh, inside the Housing Colony at Lohia Nagar. You have to look for A/57, which is where Mr. Sanjay Kumar’s place is located. It is much more of a home-office environment than a big corporate building. We deal with asset management stuff here, helping people figure out what to do with their savings and how to manage their investments. It is a quiet neighborhood in Patna and we like it that way because it lets us focus. Most of our day involves looking at numbers and talking to people about their plans for the future. There is not a fancy reception area or a big sign. You just walk in and we sit down at the table to go over the documents together. It feels more personal because we are right here in the community. We do not use any complicated financial jargon if we can avoid it. We just explain how different funds work and what the risks might be. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks or there is noise from the street, but we just keep working. People come to us because they want someone local they can talk to without feeling like they are just another number. It is a very straightforward operation. We handle the paperwork and keep track of everything from this small office.
