Hospital Furniture Surgical is located on Arya Kumar Road, right near the Sri Sai Yamaha showroom in the Machuatoli area. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our front door. We mostly deal with the physical stuff that goes into a clinic or a hospital room, like the beds and the metal stands. Our shop is full of things made of steel and plastic, and it usually smells a bit like paint or oil. We have been in Machuatoli for quite some time now, and most of the other shop owners around here are our friends. If you are looking for us, just look for the Yamaha place and we are right nearby. It’s a practical kind of business. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most of our work is done by hand, moving heavy frames around and making sure the wheels on the beds actually turn properly. The guys in the back are always busy with their tools, and sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear the phone. We take our time with each piece because we know it has to be sturdy for the patients who will use it. It’s a lot of hard work and we go home pretty tired, but it’s good to see a finished bed ready to go out. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the shop running smoothly for everyone who depends on us.
