You can find Getwel Hospital located on Bailey Road, specifically in the Rajabazar area of Sheikhpura. We are situated very close to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, so this whole neighborhood is basically dedicated to healthcare. Bailey Road is one of those places that never really sleeps; there is always traffic and people moving around. Our hospital is a busy place because of where we are. We see people coming in from all over Sheikhpura and even further out. The building has been here for a while, and it shows its age in some spots, but it is solid. We have several floors, and the elevators are usually busy moving patients and supplies up and down. The lobby is often full of families waiting for news or just taking a break. It gets quite loud during the day with all the talking and the sounds from the street outside. We have a lot of different departments, but we all work in the same way, just trying to handle the load. Being near such a large institute means we get a lot of overflow, and we have to be ready for anything. The staff is used to the fast pace. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty; we just focus on the rooms and the patients. It is a practical place for a practical job here in the heart of Rajabazar and Sheikhpura. We just keep going one shift after another.
