Our office is in the Uma Raj Apartment, specifically unit 202/B in Rupaspur, Khajpura. It’s a residential building, so it’s a bit different from a commercial hub. Gerchem Pharma Private Limited is based right here. We like the quiet of the apartment complex. It’s not a large operation. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets taking up most of the space. My wife helps me with the record keeping while I handle the distributors. Khajpura is a nice part of town to work in. We’ve got some good neighbors who don't mind the occasional delivery coming through. We don't have a lobby or a fancy waiting area. If someone comes by, they usually just sit with us in the main room. We don't use much marketing jargon because we don't really see the point. People know what we do and they come to us for that. The balcony gives us a bit of fresh air during our breaks. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, so we have to use the stairs, which is good exercise I suppose. We try to keep our overheads low so we can keep things running. It’s a practical way to manage a business. We focus on the local market here in Rupaspur. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking emails. It’s a regular job for us and we take it seriously without any pretense.
