Ford Hospital & Research Centre

We are right here in Patna. Our place is called Ford Hospital and Research Centre. It’s a well-known spot in the city for medical care. We aren't one of those tiny clinics that closes up at five. We are a full-scale hospital. That means we have people here all the time. Night shift, day shift, it doesn't matter. There is always someone at the desk. Patna is a busy city, and being a hospital here means you have to be ready for anything. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some just need a quick shot or some medicine, others stay for a week or more. We have a research side too, where we look at data and try to figure out better ways to handle illnesses. But for most people, we are just the place they go when they feel sick. The building is functional. It’s not meant to be a museum; it’s meant for healing. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or TV ads. We just focus on the patients in the beds. Our staff is mostly local, so they know the city and the people well. It feels like a community here, even when it’s busy and stressful. We just keep moving, taking care of one person at a time, every single day of the week. This is our way of contributing to the life of the city.
