Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute Of Dental Sciences & Hospital

Our place is located out in Hari Om Nagar, right on New Bailey Road, just to the west of the canal. If you know the area, you know the canal is a good landmark for finding us. We’ve got the dental institute and the hospital here, so there are always students around as well as patients. It’s a bit of a mix. The building is fairly large because we need the space for the classrooms and the clinics where the dental work happens. You’ll see people waiting around in the halls, usually nervous about their teeth. It’s just the way it is with dentistry. The staff tries to keep the schedule tight, but things happen. We’ve been at this Bailey Road spot for a while, and the neighborhood has changed around us. It's busy during the day with the traffic outside. Inside, it smells like that typical dentist office scent—clean and a bit sharp. We have different floors for different things. Some are for the students to learn and others are where the actual checkups happen. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a place where people can get their teeth looked at and students can learn the trade. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with all the activity, but that’s just life here. We’re just here doing our jobs day in and day out near the canal and trying to get through the daily schedule.
