We spend a lot of our time looking at drawings and checking calculations. It’s not all office work, though. We do have to go out and see how things are going on site. The office itself is pretty functional. We have desks, computers, and a lot of rolled-up blueprints in the corners. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in a growing city like Patna. Concept Consulting Engineers has been around for a bit. We are just a group of people who understand how things should be built. We don't talk in fancy jargon if we can help it. It’s better to just explain what needs to happen in plain English. We have our regulars who come to us when they have a project in mind. We sit down and talk through the technical bits. Sometimes it takes a long time to get a plan right, but we don't mind. We stay until the job is finished. The heat in Patna can be a bit much in the summer, but we have a fan and some cold water. We are just doing our part as engineers here in this corner of India.
