Chandra Mathematics Center

Our center is located in Nayatola, which stays busy almost all day long. We are right opposite P.N. Anglo School, so there is always a lot of movement on the street outside. Chandra Mathematics Center is basically just a couple of rooms where we focus on numbers and formulas. The walls have some old posters and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for the students who come here. Patna’s Nayatola area is known for having lots of small shops and centers, and we fit right in with the local vibe. We start our classes pretty early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. It gets noisy later on with the buses and the students from the school across the road, but we just close the door and carry on with the math problems. There isn't a big staff here, just a couple of us who handle the teaching and the day-to-day stuff. We don't have any complicated systems or fancy technology. We mostly use the blackboard and chalk because that’s how we prefer to do it. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a rattling noise, but nobody really minds. We are just here to do the work and help whoever walks through the door. It is a very normal, local place with no extra frills or decorations to distract anyone.
