Capital Offset

Our printing shop is located in Naya Tola, out in Village Bankipore, which is part of the Patna Sadar area. We are really close to the P N Anglo Sanskrit School, so we get a lot of students and teachers walking by every day. It’s a busy little pocket of the village. The machines we use for the offset printing take up most of the room, so the shop always smells a bit like ink and paper. It’s a loud place when the rollers are going, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We handle all sorts of paper jobs for people in the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy setup with a big showroom; it’s more of a workshop where the floor is usually covered in scrap paper and boxes. We just focus on getting the prints clear and making sure the colors aren't too far off from what people want. The building is just a regular local structure, nothing that stands out too much except for the sound of the equipment. Being near the post office is handy for when we need to send stuff out. We aren't trying to be the biggest printer in the state, just the one that the local folks can count on to get their flyers or booklets done without a lot of fuss. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
