Our office is on the second floor of Brindavan Kunj, room 204. If you know Patna, you know Exhibition Road is always crowded and moving. We are right there in the Hotel Shravan building, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming up to the windows. The building has been around for a while. It has that old-school feel to it, with wide hallways and a bit of a slow elevator. We like being centrally located because it makes things easier for everyone to find. Inside the office, things are pretty straightforward. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and the usual chairs for when people drop by. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait for the generator to kick in. That’s just part of life in this area. We usually have the windows open when the weather allows it, though the dust from the road can be a bit much. The staff knows the local tea guy and we usually have a few cups throughout the day. It’s a grounded kind of place. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just work here every day and try to keep things moving along for the people who need us.
