Bhagwati Masala Udyog

You can find Bhagwati Masala Udyog over at Gadikhana Chowk in the Shahbag Colony. We are right in the Kumhar Toli area, and the Ram Mandir is just a short walk away. You can often hear the temple bells in the morning when we’re just starting our shift. This neighborhood is full of small shops and houses, so it feels very much like a community. Our place is basically a workshop where we grind and mix different masalas. It’s dusty work, and your clothes end up smelling like cumin and coriander by the end of the day. We don’t have a big corporate sign or a glass front. It’s more of a practical space with heavy machinery and stacks of burlap bags. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to sit outside in the colony until it comes back on. That’s when we chat with the neighbors or the people passing through the chowk. We’ve been here long enough that most people know who we are just by the smell of the roasting spices. We don’t spend money on big ads. Most of our customers are folks who have known us for a long time. We just try to keep things consistent and the prices fair for the local families. It’s a humble setup, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
