Balaji Kirana Store

Balaji Kirana Store is located on Bazar Samiti Road in the Mussallehpur Hat Nanmuhia part of Patna. One thing people use to find us is the railway crossing nearby. You can often hear the trains passing and the bells ringing when the gates go down. It’s a busy spot because everyone waits there, so they often pop in to grab something while they are stuck. We sell the usual kirana items. We have flour, spices, tea, and all the daily necessities. The shop has been here for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we focus more on keeping the stock fresh. It’s dusty because of the road and the trains, so we’re always wiping things down. We aren’t a big company, just a small local business trying to make a living. Sometimes it’s just one person behind the counter. We don't do home delivery or anything complicated. You just come in, tell us what you need, and we get it for you. The bags of rice are stacked in the corner. We try to keep things organized but it’s a tight space. On festival days it gets really chaotic, but we manage. It’s just a regular shop for regular people. We don't have any big slogans, we just open the shutters every morning.
