B Gupta & Co, Chartered Accountants

You can find B Gupta & Co up on the 4th floor of the Sukirti building on S P Verma Road. We’ve been in this part of Patna for a long time. Being a Chartered Accountants firm, our days are usually filled with auditing, checking tax records, and meeting people who need help with their financial documents. The office has a good view of the street, though it gets quite noisy downstairs with all the traffic. We’ve got a small staff here. It’s a pretty standard workspace with rows of files and calculators everywhere you look. S P Verma Road is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside. We try to keep things organized, but during the rush of the financial year-end, it gets a bit chaotic with all the paperwork. We aren't interested in being a huge corporation. We just like doing our job well for the people who trust us with their accounts. It’s a bit of a climb up to the fourth floor if the lift is acting up, but people still make the trip. Most of our clients are local businesses from around Patna who have been coming to us for years. We just sit down, go through the numbers, and try to make sense of the regulations. It is practical work and we don't try to dress it up. Just a regular CA firm doing its thing in the heart of the city.
