Our office is situated in the Kumhrar area of Patna, which has a lot of history. We are set up in Alka Colony at Gopal Sharan’s place, under the care of Smt. Pramila Devi. It is a regular house in a quiet lane. To get here, you have to navigate through the Bahadurpur police station area and Mahendru post office district. We’ve turned part of the building into our workspace for the pharmaceutical LLP. It is mostly quiet here, except for when the delivery bikes come through. We spend the day checking batches and making sure the inventory is up to date. It is a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to counting the stock. We like the atmosphere in Alka Colony because it isn't as loud as the main roads. There’s a small garden out front that Smt. Pramila Devi looks after. We keep our paperwork organized in metal cabinets and use the main hall for most of our daily meetings. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat, which is nice. We are just a group of people working together to make sure these medicines get distributed to the local clinics and pharmacies. We usually finish up around six and lock up the front gate ourselves.
