Hanuman Nagar is a well-known spot in Kankarbagh. We are situated in F Sector. The hospital is linked to the legacy of Gopal Prasad and the late Bisundeo Sahay. It’s a sturdy building in a part of Patna that sees a lot of foot traffic every hour. Since we focus on emergency care, there’s a lot of coming and going. The front door is always opening and closing. We have a small parking area that’s usually full of bikes and scooters. The trees along the street give a bit of shade in the hot afternoon. Inside, it’s a mix of old walls and some newer equipment we've brought in. We don't have a team of people in suits. Most of us are in scrubs or just plain clothes trying to get through the list of patients. Kankarbagh is a big place, so we get people from all the different sectors. Sometimes they are just passing through and have an accident. We have a small desk where we take down names. It’s a bit messy with papers sometimes, but we know where everything is. The fans hum all day long to keep the Bihar heat away from the patients. We don't have any big mission statements or posters on the walls. We just have the work schedule and the patient charts. It’s a local place for local problems. We keep it simple and stay focused on the people who walk in. That’s just the way we operate.
