Raja Bazar is always a bit chaotic, and our place on Bailey Road is right in the middle of it. It’s a long road and Patna traffic can be a nightmare, so most of our students arrive a bit frustrated. Once they get inside, it’s a bit calmer. We call it Ashram Classes, but it’s just a regular building with some rooms for teaching. There isn't any big sign with flashing lights. We have some wooden benches and older desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floors are stone and stay relatively cool, which is helpful. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people to handle the phones. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting there taking notes or talking to whoever walks in. The air smells a bit like old paper and tea most of the time. We go through a lot of pens and paper every month. It’s the kind of place where you know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. People come here because it’s a familiar spot in a busy part of town. We don't make any big promises, we just provide a place for the lessons to happen. Some days are busier than others, especially when school terms are ending. It’s just a steady, local business in the heart of the city.
