We set up our consultancy over at Haque House on AIIMS Road. It’s right by the water tank, so it’s pretty easy to give people directions when they are coming to see us. We’ve been in this part of Patna for a while now. Our work is mostly about giving advice and handling the technical details for various projects. It’s not the most glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The office is functional and simple. We have desks, computers, and a lot of folders full of data and maps. AIIMS Road has seen a lot of changes lately, and we’ve watched the area grow from our windows every day. We stay pretty busy with the local projects. People come in with a lot of questions about how to get things started properly. We just sit down and go through the steps with them one by one. There isn’t any corporate fluff here. We speak plainly about what’s possible and what isn't. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that’s just life in Patna. We usually have a pot of tea going and some biscuits for whoever drops by for a chat. We are just a group of people who know the local rules and how to get things done without too much fuss. It’s a steady pace of work. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a local consultancy doing its part.
