Kabir Consultancy is located at 11/2 H/3 on Harshi Street, right in the heart of Raja Bazar. It is a very lively area, especially being so close to the Tram Depot. You can hear the trams and the general bustle of the market all day long. Our office isn't very large, and it is tucked away in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We handle a lot of paperwork and talking to people about their needs. It is mostly just sitting at desks and making phone calls, nothing too glamorous. The walls are lined with files and the computer is always running. We don't believe in having a flashy office because that isn't what our work is about. We just provide advice and help people figure things out. Harshi Street can be a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find us, it is a pretty relaxed atmosphere inside. We have been here in Raja Bazar for quite some time, so we have seen the neighborhood change over the years. We know the local tea seller and the other folks on the block. It’s just a regular consultancy where we take things one day at a time. No big corporate talk, just honest work and trying to be helpful to anyone who walks in. The door is usually open and the street noise reminds us we’re in the thick of things.
