Ranjan Complex is one of those big buildings where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We are right there at Dhaneswar Ghat, not far from Paradise Inst. If you’re looking for Appolo Educational Services, you have to climb the stairs and look for our door in the hallway. It’s a busy place. People come in with folders full of certificates and forms they need help with. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of paper and printer ink. We have a couple of desks where we sit and go through paperwork all day. It’s not very exciting work, but it needs to be done right. Sometimes people get lost in the complex and wander in asking for directions. We help them out and then get back to our files. The walls have some old calendars and a map pinned up. We don't have a big lobby or a person waiting to greet you at the front. You just step inside and talk to whoever is free at the time. Outside, the ghat is always busy, and you can hear the sounds of the town drifting up through the vents. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going through the long afternoon. The furniture is nothing special, just some wooden chairs and a table that has seen better days. We stay busy with the local community, helping whoever walks through the door.
