Apollo Trauma Centre

The Apollo Trauma Centre sits right on the main road in the People’s Co-operative Colony at G/124. Being on the main road means there is always noise from the traffic and people outside. We see a lot of different things coming through the doors because of where we are located. The building is set up to handle people who are in a bit of a rush or have had some kind of accident. It is a practical place with a lot of white walls and the smell of cleaning supplies everywhere. The staff stays busy with the paperwork and the patients, often moving quickly between the rooms. We have some beds and the equipment you’d expect for a trauma spot. It’s not always quiet, especially when several people arrive at the same time, but the team here is used to that kind of pace. Sometimes the electricity flickers but the backup kicks in and we just keep moving. It’s a local spot that people in the colony know well because we’ve been at this address for a long time. There isn't any fancy lobby or anything like that, just a functional space where medical work happens. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it's bandaging someone up or getting them settled in a room. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood landscape now and we spend our time making sure the daily medical work gets done without any unnecessary fuss.
