Our place, Alpha Plus Educational Centrevisit Us, is found on Kachchi Road in the Girihinda Sheikhpura area of Patna - 800001. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people around here know where Kachchi Road is. We’ve been in this building for some time. It’s a sturdy old place that serves us well for the classes we run. The rooms are filled with old wooden benches and the walls have a few posters on them. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at the front desk when people walk in. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the center of the city, but you still hear the bikes and the local vendors going past. We spend our days preparing materials and talking to the students who stop by. It’s a quiet kind of life, just focusing on education here in Girihinda Sheikhpura. We try to keep the place tidy, though the dust from the road always finds its way in. It’s just a normal part of working here. We open up early and close up once the last student has left for the evening. It’s a practical spot for an educational centre and we are comfortable here. There isn’t much drama, just the daily work of going through lessons and making sure everything is ready for the next day. Everything here is very basic and useful for the students.
