Aasthalok Hospital

Aasthalok Hospital is tucked away in Professor Colony over in Kankarbagh. We are located at N/4, which is pretty close to the Kendriya Vidyalaya. You can usually hear the school bells ringing if the windows are open in the afternoon. Being in this spot, we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. This is not one of those massive corporate hospitals with glass walls and stiff uniforms. We are a smaller setup. We handle a bit of everything here. People come in from all over Kankarbagh when they are not feeling well or have a minor emergency. The hallways are a bit narrow, and things can get pretty hectic on Monday mornings when everyone seems to need something at once. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time. They know the regulars well. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little messy, but we make sure the patients are looked after first. It is a practical place. We do not have a fancy cafeteria, just a tea stall nearby where the families usually hang out. It feels like a part of the colony, not just a cold building. We try to keep things straightforward with everyone. If we can help, we do it. If it is something too big for us to handle, we say so right away. Professor Colony is a quiet place usually, which helps.
