Star Color Lab

Our shop, Star Color Lab, is right there on GPO Road in Patiala. It’s Shop Number 2, so it's one of the first ones you see when you're coming from the Fountain Chowk side. That area is always lively. You have people going to the post office or just walking around the market. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The space inside isn't massive, but we have enough room for all the equipment we need for the lab work. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running, but we have a small fan that helps. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be printed or processed. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are just passing through, and others are regulars from around the neighborhood. It’s a practical place. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re busy with the actual work. Sometimes the street gets noisy with the traffic near the chowk, but you get used to it after a week or two. If you are looking for the place, just head down from Fountain Chowk toward the GPO, and you’ll find us. It’s a straightforward shop for straightforward work. We just try to keep things moving and get the photos and colors right for whoever walks in.
