Shree Gobind Marbles

Our place is at D-25 in the Industrial Focal Point. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where we do our work. We are near the Mukat Fibre Factory and the Maruti Suzuki showroom is close by too. Being in the Focal Point means there are always machines running and trucks moving around. We deal with marble slabs and we have a fairly large space to keep them. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of what we have in stock. The yard can get quite messy with the stone dust and the scraps, but that’s just the nature of this business. We don’t really have a front desk or a fancy lobby; if you come to see us, you’ll probably find us near the crane or checking the crates. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many businesses in the Focal Point change hands, but we just keep doing what we do. People come to us when they need a lot of material for a big project because we have the space to hold it. We don’t spend much time on the computer, mostly we are out on the floor or in the yard. It’s a simple life, focused on the stone and getting the orders filled. Sometimes it is tiring, but we prefer being active and working with our hands rather than sitting around.
