Popular Book Depot

You’ll find us at Lig 128 in the Urban Estate, Phase 1 area. It’s a decent-sized space but we still manage to fill every corner with books and school supplies. We mostly cater to the families and students who live nearby in the estate and they stop by often. Most days are pretty regular, we open up, sweep the front, and start putting away whatever new stock arrived in the morning. We carry a bit of everything, from textbooks to local magazines and some fiction books. The shelves are getting a bit old and they sag a little under the weight of the heavier hardcovers, but they still hold up fine for now. We don't use any high-tech systems here; if someone asks for a book, we usually just know which pile or shelf it's on because we put it there. It’s a bit more personal that way. We get a lot of kids coming in after school looking for specific notebooks or pens for their classes. We try to keep those things right at the front so they can find them quickly and get home. It’s a friendly enough place, and we often end up chatting with the neighbors who stop in to see what’s new on the racks. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls, we just want to be a reliable shop for the people right here. It's a quiet life.
