Arora Book Deport

Our shop is located right under Phatak No. 22 on Lady Fatima Road. It’s a busy little spot because of the railway crossing nearby. You can always hear the trains passing and the bells ringing when the gates close. Arora Book Deport has been here for a bit, and we’ve got books stacked up pretty much everywhere you look. It’s not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. We have piles of school books, some novels, and stationery tucked into the corners. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually know which stack it’s in. The shop is small and can get a bit dusty with the road being so close, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of the day shelving new arrivals or helping students find their textbooks for the new term. Lady Fatima Road has a lot of people moving back and forth, so there’s always something to see out the front door. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of fans that stay on all day. It’s a simple business. We don't do much marketing or anything; people mostly know us because they pass the Phatak every day. It’s a bit cramped inside when more than three people are browsing, but we make it work. Just a regular book stall run by people who like being around books and seeing who comes in to visit us each day.
