We run our operations out of House Number 167-168 in the New Officers Colony here in Patiala. It is more of a quiet, residential neighborhood than a big commercial hub, which makes the work environment a bit more relaxed. We have converted part of the space to handle our trade business. It’s mostly desks and storage shelves filled with samples and records from over the years. We spend a lot of our time on the computer or the phone, tracking orders and talking to various vendors. The office is a bit cramped because we’ve accumulated a lot of files, but we know where everything is. Usually, there’s some background noise from the neighborhood, like kids playing or someone selling vegetables on the street outside. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We handle the export and trade side of things, which means a lot of checking and double-checking of numbers. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with time zone differences, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation; we just want to keep things running smoothly and take care of our commitments. It is a straightforward business, and we like the fact that we are based right here in Patiala where we live.
