Mittal Agro Center

We run Mittal Agro Center over at Mullanpur 36. It’s a decent-sized spot where we keep all sorts of things for the local farms. The yard outside usually has a few tractors parked or a truck unloading new supplies. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different sections for seeds and other supplies. I usually have a bit of dirt under my fingernails from handling the bags. My routine is pretty much the same every day. I open up, check what needs to be ordered, and wait for the regulars to show up. Mullanpur is a place where everyone knows what the other person is growing. We talk about the wheat or the cotton quite a bit over tea. The shop has a high ceiling which makes it feel bigger, but we’ve filled almost every inch of it now. I keep a calendar on the wall to track the planting seasons so I know when to stock up on certain things. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy items around and making sure everything is where it should be. The light comes in through the big front door and highlights all the dust floating in the air. It’s a humble place, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose for the community. We just keep doing our thing day after day, helping out where we can and keeping the business running steadily.
