Golden Touch Institute

We’re situated on the first floor at 15 A, very close to the bus stand here in Patiala. Being near the bus stand means it’s always busy outside with people coming and going, which makes it easy for students from out of town to find us. The building is a bit old but it works for what we need. Inside, it's just a few rooms where we hold our daily sessions. We don't have any fancy decorations or expensive leather chairs. It’s mostly whiteboards and markers and a few desks. Our day starts early when the first buses arrive in the morning. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are looking for computer courses, others want to learn a specific skill. We just try to help them with whatever they signed up for. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the desks at the end of the day. It gets a bit hot in the summer months, but the fans keep things comfortable enough. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, so most locals know where we are. It’s a simple operation. We don't spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our day is spent talking to students about their goals and checking their progress on paper. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we like it. If you walk up the stairs, you'll see our door.
