Over in Pathankot, specifically at the 145001 pin code, you’ll find Schoolzsgr. It’s a bit of an unusual name, we know, but it’s ours. We aren't a giant institution with hundreds of staff members. It’s a smaller setup where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Being in Pathankot means we are used to a certain pace of life—not too fast, but not exactly slow either. The building is a simple structure that fits right into the local streetscape. We don’t have a big PR department or a fancy website that looks like a magazine. Most of our work is just handling the basics of education. We spend our time fixing broken desks, sorting through mail, and making sure the students aren't running too fast in the corridors. The windows look out over the local neighborhood, and you can usually hear the sounds of the town throughout the day. It gets quite cold here in the winter, so we spend a lot of effort making sure everyone stays warm enough to actually concentrate. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Most of the people who work here have been in Pathankot their whole lives, so we feel a real connection to the families who send their kids to us.
