Klm International School

Klm International School is located out on Defence Road in the Siunti area of Pathankot, near Mamoon. It is a bit of a drive for some, but the area is generally quiet compared to the main city center. The school day starts pretty early for us. We see the buses pulling in and the staff getting their rooms ready before the first bell rings. It is a large enough space for the kids to move around. We have classrooms set up along the hallways, and you can usually hear the sound of teachers talking or students reciting things if you walk through the building. The grounds are kept up by a small team who look after the plants and the open spaces. Pathankot weather can be a bit unpredictable, sometimes it is really rainy and the kids have to stay indoors during their breaks. We just adapt to whatever the day brings. The teachers here come from different parts of the region and they spend a lot of their time planning out the weeks. It is not always perfect, sometimes things get a bit chaotic in the mornings or when school lets out, but we manage. We have been at this location for some time, and the local community knows where to find us. It is just a place where kids come to spend their day while their parents are at work. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep things simple and try to stay organized as we go.
