I.B. Steel Gears

Our shop is located right on the Gt Road in Pathankot, near the Bye Pass. Being so close to the highway means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the big trucks rumble past all day and night. We deal with steel gears, so the noise from the road actually blends in with the sounds of our own work most of the time. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes the dust from the bypass gets into everything, but we’re used to it by now. The location is good because people can find us easily when they are traveling through Pathankot. We don’t have a shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a workspace filled with metal and the tools we need to get things done. Some of the guys have been working these machines for years. We open the doors early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By midday, it gets pretty hot inside, but we just keep at it. The GT Road is the lifeblood of this area, and we’ve seen all sorts of people pass by our front door. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or the most famous place around. We just want to make sure the gears we handle are right. It’s a tough, honest way to make a living, and we’re okay with that. The building is old but strong, just like the stuff we work with every day.
