Bansal Iron Traders

We are located on Pathankot Road, right at the corner where it meets Tanda Road and Mandir Marg in Laxmi Pura. It’s a busy intersection and there is always noise from the traffic. We’ve been trading iron here for a long time. My father started the business and I took over after I finished school. The yard is usually filled with all kinds of iron beams, angles, and channels. It smells like metal and old rust out there, especially after a heavy rain. We have a small shop area where we do the billing, but most of the action happens outside. We don't have any fancy displays or a website. People just know we are the place to go for structural iron in this part of town. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit disorganized when we have a lot of deliveries coming in at once. We spend a good part of the morning just sorting through what arrived. The neighbors run a small repair shop, so there is always a lot of hammering going on nearby. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. Dealing with the fluctuating prices of iron is probably the hardest part of the job. It changes almost every day. We just try to keep things honest and get the work done. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually close up once it starts getting dark outside.
