Bhagi Mirchi

You can find Bhagi Mirchi in Pathankot, right near Dalhousie Road. It’s a simple spot and we’ve been here for a bit. The location is good because people heading up towards the hills often pass by this way. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a local place where you can get something quick. The name Bhagi Mirchi is something people seem to remember. We don't have a long history or any special awards to talk about. We just open up the doors every morning and start the day. The road outside can get pretty dusty and loud with all the traffic going to Dalhousie. Inside, it's just basic tables and chairs. We do our own thing and don't worry too much about what other places are doing. The staff is just a couple of us who know how to handle the kitchen. We don't use any fancy systems for orders, just a pen and paper. Sometimes we run out of things if it's a particularly busy afternoon, but that's just how it goes. We like being in this part of Pathankot. It feels real. There’s no corporate talk here, just people coming in for a meal and then heading back out to the road. We just keep the place going as best as we can every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing the work.
